For some, the Lone Star Reptile display is the reason to attend. Earl Jones, owner, and his crew will be adding a big tortoise and more large snakes to the collection of reptiles that will be on display.  Guest can interact with the with the reptiles and learn about caring for them.

Spike and several Cleburne Railroader players be there to spread the word about being the number one independent professional baseball team in Texas.   Plus, members of the Cleburne High School Interact Club will be painting faces.

A Shelter box, which provides emergency shelter and items necessary for a family who has lost their home, will be on display.  Rotary Clubs around the world donate to purchase these boxes.

If you would like to donate blood at the Carter BloodCare Bus, they will be set up on the parking lot by 4 pm and take reservations until 7:45 pm.  Make an appointment here, https://ww3.greatpartners.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/131480.

The Cleburne Rotary Club was proud to receive the Texas Association of School Board's Business Recognition Award this past Monday from CISD for contributing to the success of our students, teachers, and schools!

Dinosaurs — or at least their bones — were roaming the halls of the Cleburne Conference Center on Thursday.

Southwestern Adventist University biological sciences professor Arthur “Art” Chadwick spoke to Cleburne Rotary Club members about the university’s dinosaur museum and how they use 21st century technology and innovation to research dinosaur bones during its weekly luncheon.

Dr. Tony Torres was awarded the prestigious Service Above Self Award for 2016.  Tony was recognized for his relief work that he leads for Rotary.
Goats, clowns, dogs and robots figured into the Cleburne Rotary Club’s Thursday luncheon as the club presented vocational service awards to a Cleburne fireman, policeman and a Cleburne ISD teacher.
Members of the award winners’ respective professions nominated the recipients who were recognized for their efforts above and beyond duty’s call.
The recipients included Cleburne Fire Department Engineer Danny Wilson, Cleburne Police Officer Charles “Trey” West and Smith Middle School sixth-grade science teacher Roel Pena.
